CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?

Under UK consumer law, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

At Cumbria Attire, we accept returns only where the item is faulty or not as described.

We do not accept returns for sizing issues or change-of-mind purchases, so please check sizing details carefully before ordering.

All return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order. Claims made after this timeframe may not be accepted unless required by law.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

LOST OR MISSING PARCELS

If a parcel is lost or missing during transit, compensation is based on the delivery option selected at checkout.

Delivery Options & Compensation
  • 24hr Delivery (Free):

    Compensation is limited to £150.

    This option is selected at the customer’s own risk for higher-value items.
  • £7 Tracked Delivery Option:

    Compensation is covered up to £2,500.

By choosing a delivery method, you acknowledge and accept the associated compensation limits.

If your parcel is delayed or missing, please contact us at cumbriaattire@gmail.com and we will investigate with the courier.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR RETURNING AN ITEM?

If your return is approved, you must follow the process below:

  1. Contact us first at cumbriaattire@gmail.com with your order number and issue.
  2. Once approved, return the item ensuring:
  • It is unworn and unused
  • All original tags and packaging are included
  • The returns form is completed correctly
  • The item is free from damage, including:
  • Smoke or strong odours
  • Pet hair
  • Marks, wear, or alterations

Returns must be sent using Tracked & Signed delivery.

Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is confirmed as faulty.

⚠️ We are not responsible for returns lost in transit. Failure to follow these instructions may result in the return being refused.

RETURNS FROM OUTSIDE THE UK

Returns from outside the UK are generally not accepted due to customs and import restrictions.

If you have received an incorrect or faulty item and are returning from outside the UK, the parcel must be clearly declared as:

“RETURNED GOODS – OF NO COMMERCIAL VALUE”

Please note:

  • Any customs duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the customer
  • We cannot accept responsibility for customs delays or charges
  • Import duties and original shipping costs are non-refundable
REFUNDS
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing times may take 5–10 working days after inspection
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
